Most of it is done in stores that remain open: LED lighting upgrades, lighting changes and additions for sales floor renovations, and replacement of exit sign lights and automatic fire alarm systems.

From sales-floor lighting to fire and life-safety systems and outdoor signs. We take on electrical work for stores, from a single repair upward.

Lighting

LED lighting upgrades

We replace sales-floor fixtures, high-ceiling lights, downlights and eave lights with LEDs.

Lighting & outlets

Lighting changes and additions for sales-floor renovations

When the floor layout changes, we relocate and add lights and move outlets to match.

Fire safety

Exit sign light and automatic fire alarm system upgrades

We replace exit sign lights and their batteries, and refurbish automatic fire alarm systems.

Outlets & distribution boards

Power for TV sections and display fixtures

We add power for display TVs, replace the distribution boards that feed them, and carry out power work when display fixtures are changed.

Lighting

Sign lights, outdoor lights and parking lot lighting

We refurbish sign lights, outdoor lights and parking lot lighting, along with the timers that set when they turn on.

Power & investigation

Finding and repairing current leakage

We find the cause of current leakage and repair it. We have also dealt with leakage in escalators and atrium lighting.

How We Work

This is our usual process for electrical work in a store that stays open. We adjust it to each store's conditions.

Site survey

We check the distribution board circuits, the ceiling height and structure, and the route for bringing in materials.

Agreeing on schedule and hours

We agree with the store on which circuits go off and when, and on the hours for noisy work.

Sectioning and protection

We section off the work area and cover merchandise and floors. Aisles and routes to emergency exits stay clear.

Installation

We switch over one circuit at a time, in order, so the sales floor doesn't go dark all at once.

Testing and clean-up

We run lighting tests and measure insulation resistance, then clean up and return the floor to how it was.

Story

Challenge and response課題と対応

Every store is different, in its building and in the age of its equipment.

Issue

Stores in many regions needed LED upgrades, sales-floor renovations and fire-safety upgrades carried out without closing.

Action

We have taken on LED upgrades, sales-floor changes, exit sign light upgrades and more as separate projects for each store. Beyond renovations, we also handle single repairs, such as a light that will not turn on or a current leak.

Result

From 2019 to 2024, the stores we worked on spread across the whole area of our renovation & maintenance work for electronics retail stores (12 prefectures from Kanto to Chugoku).

Approach

How we work当社の進め方

Unlike new construction, renovation & maintenance work makes use of the circuits and equipment already in place. Before starting, we check the distribution board circuits and existing wiring and decide the order of switchover.

We choose light fixtures and wiring devices from any manufacturer. Following the store's lighting plan, we handle everything from ordering to installation.
