We handled the electrical systems for a new two-story wooden welfare facility for older people. Our group company SOWA SERVICE handled air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and fire suppression, so the two companies covered the building services together.

Story

Challenge and response課題と対応

In a building where people live, the electrical systems bear directly on their daily lives and safety.

Issue

Many kinds of electrical systems, from lighting and outlets to nurse call and fire safety equipment, had to be installed in step with the building schedule.

Action

Before construction began, we gave the general contractor value engineering (VE) proposals to lower the cost of the main feeders and low-voltage systems. On site, we kept our schedule in step with SOWA SERVICE, which handled the mechanical systems.

Result

Construction began in November 2021, and the work was completed in May 2022.

Approach

How we work当社の進め方

Air-conditioning units, water heaters and pumps all need power. With two group companies covering the mechanical and electrical work, any change in equipment position or capacity can be reflected on the electrical side right away, within the group.

Electrical work for other medical, welfare and childcare buildings, such as a new hospital, a nursery school refurbishment and the renovation of a facility for people with disabilities, is listed in the project list.
